What It's All About:
Thanks for your interest in joining a Daniel Glass Online Jazz Intensive!
Please note that this event has an in-person component for drummers in Denver, which includes the opportunity to record with a local jazz rhythm section in a professional studio setting. If we do not register 12 drummers from Denver, we will supplement the remaining slots with online-only students. If you're attending online, you will be able to participate in all aspects of the course EXCEPT for the studio critique sessions. However, you will be able to observe these sessions remotely.
Since we have interest from all over the world (many different time zones), we can't yet confirm specific start/finish times for all the events. Depending on where you live, some events might happen earlier in the morning or later in the evening. We'll be back in touch shortly with more info. on this account. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to email Daniel directly: [email protected].
The Jazz Intensive will be presented in five sessions spread out between August 14-23, 2020 (for details, check out the full itinerary below). Spreading the events out over a multi-day period will allow you time to practice, digest the material, and make measurable progress.
To ensure that every student receives maximum one-on-one interaction, we will be limiting attendance to a total of 12 participants.
Saturdays will be technique days, Sundays will be studio days. There will also be a mid-week check-in (2 hrs) and special events on the Friday night of each weekend.
The cost for online participants is $299 ($150 less than the Denver price).
